Acabo de descubrir esto en el foro de la web de lonely planet. Para los que no lo sepan, lonely planet es una editorial de guias de viaje, que es algo asi como el Evangelio para los trotamundos. En ese foro se intercambian informaciones de ultima hora todos los mochileros que preparan un viaje. Bien, he aqui algo que he leido referido a Andalucia. Aparte de detalles sobre trenes, mirad el punto 4 del articulo, y luego decidme: ¿es esa la imagen que queremos dar al mundo?

1)there is a partial rail strike through the 12th, i
believe. there also will be a partial strike on the 21st
and 22nd of february. ask for details at the train station!
2)if you want to have Internet access in Cordoba, there's a
decent cafe with average connection-rate computers not more
than ten minutes on foot from the train station, due east
on Avenida de America. it's called el navegante.
there's an internet access point with better connections
but no food or drinks SW of the station on Aroca. it's
called wildnet. it's even closer to the train station but
you'll need a map to get there!
3)rail passes don't seem to be worth it, for the most part.
to take either the talgo 200 or the AVE, both very fast
trains, one must pay fifteen hundred pesetas ($9 U.S.) in
advance to reserve a seat EVEN IF you have a eurrail pass.
w/o a pass it costs about $15-18 U.S total.
4)during the past few days there was awful violence and
ethnic-related attacks and riots in Almeria, on the
southern coast. i would look into the current situation
prior to going there--
though things are somewhat under control, it remains very
tense.
